If my gecko lays eggs, then buries them under a mound of sand, what do i do?

We have two geckos in the same cage. One is a male and one is a female. Our female got pregnant for the first time. We managed to have her lay her eggs. The same morning she layed her eggs, I picked up this rock near her and her eggs, to feed her. She finally ate, but she must have gotten mad or did the next step in egg laying, but she buried them under a mound of sand. Should I dig them up or leave them alone? Please help me!
