Is it weird that....?

I want to take Hebrew in college but I am not jewish? I really like it and I have already taught myself a lot. Like I can read it pretty well, and I can understand the gist of it when I hear a conversation. So should I take it? I feel like people would be like "why??" lol. Cuz I think i would be the only not jewish person and people would think that is weird:/
