Security Forces. Will the job give you skills that are marketable after your service?

If I serve under Security Forces for 4 years in the Air Force, would it give me the skills(if any) that could make me marketable in the civilian world, or should I might as well just call it a "Mc Job"(look up definition up if you don't know meaning) and just not get my hopes up since the whole job experience probably won't get me any where in the civilian world, other than a janitor or a school security guard. And how or when would I know what job I got booked because I was just at MEPS a couple of weeks ago and my First Choice was Signals Intel, is that a hard job to get booked, should i just wait until they have an opening for me there. and do I have to give my signature before the Air Force can make any further processing, so that why I could get a job that i might not hate and suck.
